Yeah, by accident. My DH also has. In fact once when we didn't have cow milk in the fridge I offered to put some EBM in his coffee for him......
I have heard of a couple of families that use EBM for everything instead for store bought milk.
Yeah I tasted a drop to see what it was like, and I made DH too because it grossed him out, LOL. It's sweet.

When I realised most of my frozen stash was going to expire soon we used it in a lot of baking and cookingMay as well, right? I'm planning on pumping for DD to have on her cereal and in a cup if she wants it.
Yep. It's wierd cause the breast milk for my first baby was so so so sweet and the breast milk for my second baby was not as sweet and had a very slight salty taste. I didn't think it would taste different as its my body both times.
Yep, both DH and I did out of curiosity.
I have tasted mine.. Yuk..
Yeah, I didn't find it terribley sweet, just... thin and milky. Different. But not sweet. Might have been my diet though - I'm more of a savory gal, and ate a lot of savory when breastfeeding rather than sweets or anything like that. Maybe I should do some experiments when I'm breastfeeding and see if spicy foods or sweet foods make it different? lol
ETA: My partner had it in coffee and on cereal once because I borrowed milk from the neighbours and put it in baby bottles (all I could think of at the time haha) so I had breastmilk and cows milk in the fridge in baby bottles. Didn't think to label them because my BM always separated so I just chucked them on opposite sides of the fridge. HILARIOUS! But she didn't seem to care. Said it didn't really taste like anything.

A friend of mine was catching a plane one morning while she was away and had expressed milk in the fridge. Rather than throw it away she made a hot chocolate out of it hehe. I don't see it as a big deal. We drink milk from cows.
Yes. I wouldn't feed my child anything I wouldn't eat myself. It was too warm and sweet for me - I prefer milk the way nature intended, from a cow and stored in the fridge!
DH probably has, but really did freak out about me making milk in the first few months and would never admit it if he has.
Tastes a bit like mares milk.....
... ?
mares milk. Bet that's an interesting story. *waits*
Yep, a few drops. Neither here nor there... didn't gross me out, didn't want more! Both of my big kids and my nieces (13 and 14) asked to taste it also. They have each had a spoonful and all had the same reaction as me - except for DD1 (9) who loved it and asked for some every time I had my boobs out for DD2!! In the end I just had to tell her that BM was for the baby. I had supply issues, couldn't afford to feed both DD's!
I have tasted mine very much on purpose. It seems odd to me NOT to know what my own milk tastes like. I was surprised it was so sweet and with a thinnish consistency.
Yep, had a tiny sip of EBM early on with DD1 and have randomly cleaned up spillages, lol, without thinking since with both girls. My BM is sweet too and not something I'd enjoy but I can see why a little baby would love it.
My frozen EBM gets that whacky smell that freezing often does to EBM so there is no way I could sample that, it's quite off putting but DD couldn't care less. Funny stuff, isn't it![]()
yep, I tasted it, I thought it tasted like UHT milk, but a bit sweeter. I had all these ideas about using it for everything, making icecream, cheese etc...but nah, couldn't even be bothered expressing so DS would have a bottle LOL
DP tasted it too, at first he thought the idea of it as so gross, but I think he actually developed a taste for it :P
Yep, much sweeter than I expected
I made a coffee with mine when I had run out of milk one morning. Hey I was desperate and I didn't need sugar lol DH has had some as well![]()
