Question Help back to work sooner than expected

    Hi,

so unfortunatley I've had to make the decision to return to work next week, which is about 5 months sooner than i had planned and I need HELP.

so I'm trying to express like a mad woman, with little progress, which is very disheartening, and Im worried i just wont have enough by the time i go back.

atm im feeding him on demand so we havnt really go much of a routine or setup going but its roughly 3 hourly, and he's also started to have abit of an experiment with solids.

Ill only be going back two days a week, which i know isnt much but i cant help but stress...im lucky in that he will be close to me and i can offer him a lunch time feed, but i dont know what to do when im not there.

how many feeds should i have backed up, how much do they take at this age, he's 5months, and should i try and get his feeds more structured in the mean time?

any suggestions or comments would be appreciated

If you can feed him in the morning and at lunch then I would aim to leave 2 100ml bottles per day. Can you express at work? Then you only need one day for the head start!
Get a really good pump- ideally a double one, because once you get over the initial mess it is much faster. And if you can keep pum bits in the fridge then you only need to wash them once a day.
    good luck!
