    I has milk!

Ok, I really have no idea if this is the best place to post this, so please, if there is somewhere better please move it there!!

this is crazy! and you'd think my being a midwife i would figure this out..but no, this has me completely stumped.

so.. first things first I have NEVER been pregnant before, i'm currently cycle day 14, predicted ovulation is in 3 days (cd 17).

and well last night i was playing with my boobs.... *shy* I do that often...just play...
and well I noticed something and i had expressed. I did some hand expressing, and low and behold, i expressed a good drop of colostum.
now I know for sure it was breast milk...that is one thing i know for sure.

    but what the hell?!?!?!

Wow, fascinating! I don't have any answers, but would love to know how you go at the GP.

Are your breasts uncomfortable or tender at all? Your hormones might be on overdrive?

Have you started any new medication? Some meds can increase your prolactin levels (this happened to me once before when I was on some medication a while back). I hope you get some answers.

Could it be a phantom pregnancy?

    i havent started any meds.

and i took a poas test and bfn (just to be sure.)

a friend of mine has recently had her prolactin levels checked out (cause they were high) and i asked her if she could express and she said yes. and was also infertile because of it (great for our ttc..) but she has been diagnosied with a piturity tumour (benign thankgod)

but yea...now im freaking out and thinking the worst....so will be getting bloods done on friday.
