I had the same predicament as you - mine's going on eBay very soon.
Just want to vent that this pillow is the biggest waist of money!!!
It's not at all suitable for bigger breasted women. When I lay DS on it he is miles above my boob!
Id love to hear from anyone on this, if you have had success using one or if you also think it bites![]()

not good at all. I am big breasted and found it too high. I think I used a normal pillow, then when we FF I remember DH using it to feed DD.
Now DD likes to sit on it, I think she got more use out of it as a 'horsey' then I did lol
i only have little boobies but i still had the same issues with it,i hated it!
Everyone I know who has used one has loved them. But I really did not like mine at all. I have a short body. Did not work, gave me a bad aching back and headaches
I liked mine but I used it more as she got a little older mostly when DD2 was newborn we fed lying down
I love mine, but I have to use the football hold so it made everything easier. I only had it for Ds wish I had it for the girls as it would have made life easier.
I love it! I have fairly big boobs (E cup) and I find using it great.
Wow interesting mix of opinions. Thanx girls!
Lisa, do you hold your boob when you feed? I've seen some women hold it in position the whole time, I tried once but was so uncomfortable!
I'm just wondering how you get it high enough to use the pillow effectively, perhaps you have a skill I could use![]()
Because my boobs are rather large, I put a rolled up flannelette flat nappy underneath to prop it up a bit. However, there have been times where I haven't had the rolled up nappy on hand and I have still been able to feed comfortably using the Milkbar pillow. I'm not sure what I am doing differently though? I use it sitting either semi reclined in a lounge chair or sitting regular in it, or I use it sitting up in bed. I do find it lots easier to use in the football hold when feeding in bed though.
HI,
don't be too hard on the pillow! Most mothers don't use a pillow, but some-how they are sold as a "breastfeeding essential". Piff the pillow I say!
I used to use a rolled up flannel but found once we were more confident we didn't need it.
ATM I'm either using nothing or a regular pillow. When we were preggo and buying everything I had it in my head I just MUST have a BFing pillow! Tbh I think it was more about showing my commitment to trying to bf and looking at a pretty pillow made it seem less scary. Lol
I'm a fan of mine! I find if I don't use it I tend to hunch over and get a sore neck and shoulder. I'm a DD cup.
Yeah I'm a DoubD too!
I find it so interesting that it works for some and not others!!
My Midwife says that they need to be made for each different body. Different heights etc. Which explains why it works for some.
Me and my c cups dd when feeding loved it. I have a long torso though. I went through stages of using it clipped up tight, loose or not at all. I had the bigger one not the single one as I thought it might move around too much.
WMM I hold my (HH) boob when I'm feeding, I can't do it any other way! although I did try the rolled up flannel trick for a while I couldn't be bothered to always make sure I had one. I also have continued to use a regular pillow through the entire past 18 months - I think it is just about how long your body is, how big your boobs are etc etc.
