Nipple rings and breast feeding

Hey guys,

im hoping someone can help me.
I have a nipple ring which i dont even want anymore but i cant take it out myself and i keep forgetting everytime im near a piercing place.

I was just wanting to know if anyone has had one taken out and then breastfed without any problems? Did the holes close over?

Yes and yes.
I was a bit worried about it myself. I took mine out a while before I was pg with Emily and it closed over. I was worried about not being able to feed her because of the scar tissue. But I fed her until she was 11mo and I am still feeding Violet.
Not sure if cases vary... but I can't see why you wouldn't be able to BF, esp if you have had minimal healing troubles with the piercing.
