    Odd Question..

So since being pregnant, I have what my doctor seems to think as some extra breast tissue right next to the center of my nipple almos the very center. It is not the nodules which keep your nipple lubricated and it is not a skin tag. My odd nipple just decided to grow a small lump of extra breast tissue right near the opening to where the milk comes out of. It is odd little thing but doctor does not seem to be concerned. My question to you guys is have you had anything like this happen and did it affect breastfeeding? I never had this with DD1.

Hmmm... I don't know the answer, but since breasts come in a variety of sizes and shapes, I doubt it would affect bfing. Baby will be used to your nipples, ITMS. Have you tried calling the ABA 1800 mum 2 mum? They might have some more insight into this.

Le Leche has a similar helpline in the US.

It might disappear after birth (if it is hormonal) but even if it doesn't i reckon bub will just work it out.
