Pregnant and weaning ideas/ supply dropping?

I've just got a bfp in the past week (I think I'm about 4weeks pg). DS is about 25 months and I'm not keen on tandem feeding - I understand the concept but can't bring myself to it and dh isn't likely to be supportive of it, so I'd like to wean before the new one gets here. So I've got a couple of questions
    1) when does supply drop typically when pg? (looking at possibly using this to help wean)
    2) how do I start the weaning otherwise - DS only feeds at night, but will have major meltdowns at times lately if I'm not feeding him for hours (almost literally) some nights. (and he bites at CC if he doesn't have a good sleep the night before - biting trigger=tired. Typically feeds to sleep around 6/7pm (asleep by 8) and usually has at least one other feed (around 12 or 2) and maybe another around 4am. I'm already getting slightly irritated by the long feeds and lack of sleep - ds has been known to be awake for 3+ hours (with dh) if I don't give in and feed ds back to sleep

Dd was 6 months when I fell preg and at about 4-8 weeks she rejected the boob. She kept drinking ebm but would not latch to the boob.

I think it is typically around 12w that most experience a drop in supply... didn't happen here though and I was hoping for it for similar reasons; to kick start weaning my 29month old. Watching this thread though as I'm still considering my options and curious what others suggest in regards to how to wean.

I was 9 weeks when I weaned DS. I didn't notice any drop in supply (I think everyone is different there), but it was at that point the sensitivity just got too much.

Honestly, we had a few days of screaming, maybe 3 or 4, all night long, but that was all. I hated it, but I couldn't stand him on there. He started sleeping through very soon after. He was doing ok before, but much better after.

He was just over 23 months.

Its taken alot longer to break the actual habit though. He put his hand down my shirt for over 12 months for comfort. Even now, 18 months later he'll do it. Not very often & more to annoy/stir me now. He used to roll over in his sleep, put his hand down my shirt, & go back to sleep

Thought I'd update with how everything's been going. Typically as soon as I post something about DS not doing something, he changes things the past 2 nights we've gone down around 7:30 (sleepwise) and basically slept through to 5am Sunday night he did a bit of swap sides before I had enough of it and let him play with his dummy (it's more of a toy than anything - doesn't use it like a dummy much) mucked around with that for awhile and went to sleep; stirred briefly at about 3:30am but by the time I came back from the loo, he was asleep again. Last night fed to sleep; stirred about 4:50am and then after 5 woke for a feed. Tonight DS's been down since just before 7 and I'm hoping for a repeat of the past 2 nights with the 5am-ish wakeup only We're down to 2 (maybe 3 if we have an afternoon feed when I get home) feeds in 24hrs
