Reusing usable food pouches. Anyone tried or currently using them??
I'm looking at buying some reusable food pouches to cut down on my grocery bill and to also make feeding time a little easier with the twins.
All my kids love the yoghurt in the "sqeezy' packs but paying between $1-$1.30 for one x 3 x 7 days it is quite expensive, so I've been looking at the reusable food pouches so I can then buy yoghurt in bulk and then fill them for my needs. So far I've seen them for $18 for 20 reusable pouches which I think is pretty reasonable considering how much I'm paying in ones that get thrown out after 1 meal.
I'm also thinking they will be handy for the twins to be able to feed themselves wet food ie: weetbix or porridge at breakfast time.
Has anyone used them or currently using them??? Do you find them easy to clean or do you find that you have to throw them out after a couple of uses?
I used them today to feed the boys porridge for breakfast and it was so easy and I didn't have to clean up spilt breakfast from where someone has grabbed a loaded spoon.
They will be ideal for long car trips as well.... Plus less waste as I will reuse each pouch until it needs to be thrown out...
