Hi, I believe that it is ok to go a few days without a poo and not considered constipation unless the poo is little hard pellets, as long as it is a softish consistency it should be ok, best of luck xx

you are giving her farex/rice cereal? the fortified iron can bind them up. Pears are a good option or mash up a prune into the cereal. Have you thought about giving her some steamed vegies BLS style?

I found bananas would bind DS up too if I wasn't careful

Thanks everyone, she is having Rafferty's Garden rice cereal at the moment and then Pumpkin & Potato for tea.
Gave her some apples & pear for lunch today and will try pear over the next couple of days.
Have tried some carrot BLS but she keeps gagging on it and spitting it out, she did eat some pear though so she is slowly getting the hang of it.
Am doing a mix of both just due to my laziness really.

I know with BF babies it's ok for them to go a couple of days etc but her farts STINK and she seems a bit grizzly so i am just HOPING her little body gets used to solids etc soon.

It does take awhile for their bodies to get use to it.

Gagging is normal and is NOT choking, babies have the gag reflex for a reason and they soon look to swallow, I know it's a bit freaky but after a day or so they soon get the hang of it my DS's first foods were steamed brocoli, carrot, avocado.

I was thinking of cuting her some avocado and letting her go at it, i'm normally not bad with the choking v gag issue but the other day she did nearly choke, a bit of carrot must have been stuck a little further back than her tongue could reach and i ended up having to lean her forward until it fell out.

Thanks so so much everyone, she loves food so i'm sure she will get the hang of it soon.
