Spotting while Breastfeeding?

Just wondering if anyone out there has experience mid-cycle spotting while breast feeding. My period returned 5 1/2 weeks after Emily was born. It has been regular since then, but yesterday I had a small amount of spotting. I expect AF in five days. I am having a small heart attack that this is implantation spotting! We have not been using b/c since it took us over a year to concieve all three of our girls. If I am pg, this baby will be loved and welcomed, but I'd rather hear that this is a just little spotting that is common for breast feeding women! Any thoughts?

I have little tiny amounts of blood here and there... not even worth a liner.

Well, thats a relief! Thanks Tanya! I've had a little more spotting today, and I think it might be just a slow "warm-up" to AF. Time will tell I guess.

. . . Could spotting once your period is late be implantation bleeding? I've had one period so far. Could I be pregnant?
