Love these stories girls, good on you!
thats awesome i havent bfed in strange places bunnings is probably the strangest
Sounds most relaxing Boomba, if I was there I would've stared out of admirationGO GRRRLL!!!
Great thread Boomba! Sounds like a lovely place for a feed.
I haven't fed anywhere exciting, but I remember long before we were even married DH and I were up the coast on a dolphin cruise and there was a chick sitting in the net off the side of the boat in the water feeding...DH was mortified lol. Now....I think he'd even go and say "good on you".
Sounds like a beautiful place to feed!!
I feed anywhere and everywhere not had chance to feed at half of these interesting places!! On a train, on a steam train, at the zoo, at aquarium, varying restaurants including 5 star ones.
Wedding reception, markets,
1 person I saw feeding and take my hat off to is lady feeding in butterfly house at zoo in summer!!!! I could not do that without passing out LOL love it in there but couldnt stay that long in there!

i saw a lady with the hugest boobies feeding her teeny bub in the kmart line yesterday, she was just standing there without a care and i couldnt help smiling, soooo cute!
Anywhere. Everywhere
Sporting dressing room (all male - except me of course LOL), wedding, funeral(DD needed a feed to sleep through DH's memorial service), plane, train and automobile, musical (Wicked
), shopping, restaurant, football grandfinal
You name it, I have probably fed there. The ultimate convenience food!!
Promise that I am not a stalker Michelle but I was at your DHs memorial service at Liverpool Hospital and saw you feed DD and felt that with all that was happening you were a treasure to be keeping it all normal for your children... the kids played and were entertained and we celebrated your DH. It was a gorgeous moment and encouraged a let down from my own breasts at the time. (Yep now I sound like a stalker!!).
Weirdest place for me... whilst putting the grogercies onto the conveyor belt at the supermarket (last week), and DPs grandmothers funeral (DD was 8 mths old), whilst we were at the bank enquiring about a loan, at an expo where I was manning a stall (for ABA no less), whilst I was getting a pedicure (2 weeks ago - DD kept pulling off to talk to me about the "bath" that I was having LOL. We feed whenever and whereever... my only thing at the moment is that she is using milk as a stalling technique if we have to leave somewhere so feeding at home seems to be the weird thing at the moment
Remembered another one! At a plumbing / bathroom shop while getting a quote done for our new bathroom.
All the usual places! Car, plane, train, bus.. at the beach, in the ocean, in the pool, in the bath/shower, on display furniture, doctor's waiting room, doctor's room, cafes, restaurants, shopping mall benches, funerals (Maternal Grandma, Paternal Grandpa), in line at the bank, walking around the shops, doing housework... but my favourite is still the classic snuggled up in bed together!
Most recently at Australia Zoo, sitting on the bench in front of the tigers! Oh and the other day at the doctor, the nurse needed a urine sample from DD and offered a glass of water to help things along but she wasn't interested so I said 'no worries' and out came the sure-fire boobs. The nurse said it was neat to see a breastfeeding toddler
It is hard to remember where I have fed, it is just an everyday thing now. I think a book full of breastfeeding women in different locations would make an awesome coffee table book!
This is a wonderfully inspiring thread, kinda tempted to write a "wish list" of places to breastfed!
The feed was discrete etc but as a BF mumma you can just tell when another mumma is BFing, and to be well into a pregnancy... aweinspiring.
I did hear you speak and your DHs colleagues. Lots of tears shed by me. I wrote in the memorial book and made a comment about BB as I know so many wanted to support you but were not able to be there in person. It was a lovely memorial, your DH was well loved by so many.
OOO I've bfed at wet and wild tooo![]()
I did it sitting near that pirate waterpark under one of the shaded areas
Strangest place for me, would probably be at my gdads funeral. Was a graveside service, I was sitting under the tent, directly facing roughly 300 people.
I bawled my eyes out, all with my boob out and my little man nuzzling away! hehehe!
Great thread! I can't think of anywhere that spectacular for me though![]()
At my mum's funeral, Charlotte was 13 months old.
