What breast pump do you recommend?

I am wanting to either buy or hire a breast pump so have been looking around at my options.

Medela seems to be the most popular and lots of great reviews too. It is a bit on the pricey side though but then if its worth I dont mind.
Avent also looks ok but I have no idea

Would prefer electric, only because I am lazy and I dont have alot of time to be sitting around expressing

So hit me with your suggestions

I have a Medela Swing which is great! Very portable (mine will be tagging along to a wedding on Sat so I don't explode while away from DS all day/evening )
They are pricey but if you do a lot of expressing they are worth every cent IMO. You can get second hand ones off ebay quite cheaply and then replace the parts which come into contact with the breast perhaps? Would still be cheaper than buying a brand new one.

I have a Medela Swing as well. Love it! I first bought it when DD1 was a baby, and used it every now and then with DD2. And it's still working 4 years on

Oh - the Medela Swing hands down.

I just upgraded from the Avent ISIS electric - let's just say that when the Avent can't get anymore - I can still squirt but with the Medela Swing, when it isn't getting anymore - i'm completely empty! I LOVE the Medela Swing!!

Medela swing here too! Planning on taking it to hospital this time there was always a hassle finding one and it works just as well.

OMG I was just talking to DH about them and told him the price. Said I was looking on ebay to see how much cheaper they were and he said " eeewwww your not getting a 2nd hand titty thing its like getting a used vibrator"

WTF I had to laugh at him cause it was like a completely random thing for him to say but I guess im getting a new one
