    Worried about breastfeeding baby #3

So I am starting to worry (way to early at only 12 weeks but it keeps playing on my mind) about how I will go bfing my 3rd bub.
I only fed DS (#1) for 3 months due to PND and other issues but DD (#2) I fed for 12 months.
DD was very tricky in the beginning my milk with both of them took 5 days to come in so for the first 5 days of DD's life she was hungry, I really didnt want to introduce bottles so spoon fed formula after feeds until my milk finally came in. The next 6 weeks were constant demand feeds (which is the way I like to feed) and she finally starting settling in properly about 12 weeks.
I am worried that if this baby is similar or has it's own issues I won't cope this time around (It was the determination to feed that got me through DD) I am just as determined this time but I am not surrounded by a lot of friends who breast feed (my ex dh's family were very big on bfing so in a way were a good support) and i will probably have to return to work when bubs is 5 or 6 months.
The only probably that never got better with DD is she never took and bottle or dummy basically anything plastic, so she couldnt be babysat until she was on solids and I guess I also worry that this bub will be similar because I want to avoid nipple confusion again and not introduce bottles and dummy straight away but bubs will eventually need to be able to take a bottle of BM.

So basically any words of wisdom from fellow bfing mums?
how do you cope with 2 older ones around? they will be at kinder and school for a little bit after bubs is born but then summer holidays will start they are older so i am hoping they will just understand they have to wait if they need me for something.
Is it easier to pick up 2nd/3rd time around?

Thanks for letting me rant! hopefully i can get some sleep now lol

it sounds like your situation has changed, and without a supportive network around you you are wondering how you will cope. That;s only natural! Have you joined the Australian Breastfeeding Association yet? Their Breastfeeding Education Classes are fabulous - and gaining a deeper understanding of how the situation works really helps. Also, they provide a supportive network of mums in our area.
Having 3 kids is a juggle, but many of us look at bottle feeding mums and wonder how that can work with 3 kids. At least when you breastfeed (after the early tricky weeks) you have a hand free. And pretty soon you find yourself walking around the house, babe on boob dispensing food and drink with one hand! And it’s so portable when you need to get the kids out of the house on those hot summer days where everyone is going a bit stir crazy in the heat. As for work - well, cross that bridge when you come to it, but most mums find that they can work and still keep a breastfeeding relationship going.

Mayby you can antenatally express to build up a stockpile to help tie you over until your milk comes in so formula top ups aren't needed

Thanks barb and jellybean I never really needed to be part of aba in the past. DP is fantastic and I know will support me no matter what but I struggle to think how he will cope while I go through the ups and downs of early feeding. Ex dh was terrible everyday he would say just put dd on a bottle and it was having his step sister for tips that helped the most plus I had friends I saw regularly who breast fed. Now they are done with having babies and bfing and we all work and things now.
Jellybean with the other 2 I used to leak constantly before they were born but never really tried expressing how do you store small amounts of milk/colostrum in the last few months?
I spoke with the midwife on my first visit and she was being hopeful that provided bubs is full term that maybe everything will kick into gear quicker this time. DS was 5 weeks early and in SCN so feeding was limited until he was able to.
I think I will just have to reeducate myself like I did with dd. and stop panicking lol.
With work I ideally am hoping that I can take enough time off that bubs can have a little bit of solids and a bottle of expressed milk in the time that I have gone but it all depends on the hours I return to work.
    Thanks again for the replies!
