    Baby losing suction/clicking

DD is 3 weeks old and has started clicking while bfing. It's rhythmic, like every 2 or 3 sucks she deliberately loses suction for a second. It's usually at the start of a feed. Could this b her trying to control flow of milk?could it be coming out too fast?
More importantly, is this a problem if it continues??

It is probably her controlling the flow of milk. My DS did it too. There have been a few threads about bubs doing it lately, it might be a 2nd baby thing? Lying back to feed can help reduce the effects of gravity on the milk, reduce the pressure behind the flow. Over time, DS stopped clicking but he clicked for a few months.

If she's getting plenty of milk and you're comfortable, then all is probably fine.
