Just wanted to say that you have nothing to worry about, as the other ladies have said this is all fairly normal.

My DS started sleeping through at around 3 months. But when we got to 5 months that all went out the window I was sooo disappointed, I had thought that once we got him sleeping through that was it, unfortunately not. He did get his first two teeth and 5.5months, so I thought that was probably the cause. Could your LO be teething? But even now at nearly 7.5 months he wakes up at least once most nights. Occassionally (maybe once or twice a week) he will sleep through. But like MR said, I think it all has to do with the rapid development.

We also had similar challenges with feeding at around that time (and still do). They're so much more alert that they are so easily distracted (and feeding can be quite boring now). I find that if there is any noise or anyone else in the room DS will come off to have a look around. I usually just work with him, let him check out what is going on and then guide him back. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. When it doesn't I just figure that he isn't all that hungry and go with him.
