Mummajj - did you switch to wirefree bra as soon as you found out you were pregnant? I'm just wondering if the boobs would need to be treated the same as normal boobs but thought wire bras would still be ok because the implant is under or lifted the milk ducts etc up and out of the way, if you know what I mean.. lol

hmm i never really thought about that. i switched to non-underwire when i was about 4 months preg i think. it was waaaay too uncomfortable with underwire pressing on growing tummy. i sure am looking forward to wearing regular bras again though lol

as others have mentioned you should have no problems breastfeeding. In breastfeeding, more than anything knowledge is power. The main reason women give up breastfeeding is 'perc ieved low supply,which is entirely different to actual low supply. Many women feel as yourfriend did even under normal circumstances. My other bit of advice is to join the Australian breastfeeding Association . It 's your best insurance policy against poor advice and bad information.
The other good thing is that your breasts are changing and growing - getting ready to make milk
yes, this was my thought exactly. i think if you're not lucky enough for BFing to be perfect from the start, persistance is the key.
i will give it a red hot go. i replied in another BFing thread about feeling quite uncomfortable about BFing, but i really want to give it a go and hope it all works out.
