Another good contact is Rodney Whyte at the Monash Medical Centre. His advice is probably the most up-to-date you will come by. His contact details are in this thread: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...stfeeding.html

    The Nurofen website says:

Can I take Nurofen if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Do not take Nurofen during the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on your doctor’s advice.

Do not take Nurofen at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.

You can take Nurofen whilst breastfeeding, however do not take Nurofen Plus at all if you are breastfeeding as it contains codeine.

Cheers Westy, after taking the tablets I was recovering within 12 hours (and retaining much more fluid, LOL).
Thanks for that other contact, Jen. I might keep that handy too.
