No, you should be fine. Candida is all around us, only when our immune system is compromised (ie if we are pregnant or young) does it overgrow.
My DS, who is 3 and a half, has oral thrush as a side effect of a month of antibiotics for the ear infection from hell. He's been prescribed nilstat drops.
He still feeds occasionally. At the moment I have no symptoms - should I put the drops on my nipples just in case, or wait and see if there is a problem, or do something else?
