I think that is the sweetest! And good on you for still going. I find it really admirable.

I know it is not the same, but I have a 4.5yo who wakes to tell me she loves me ....I take her back to her bed, and
she says "Mummy, but it is important, I love you"
Drowsy me says, "Yes, yes I know go to sleep now, we will talk in the morning"
She just says, "as long as you know"

I do try to enjoy the night wakings, I DO!!!

I hope you lil man settles! He just loves his mummy!

I had a 2yo who woke for night feeds! He woke for night feeds until I asked him to wait till morning earlier last year (I was pg and just wanted to rest through the night), cos he was coming in from his room for snuggles and babu. He's nearly 4 now and waits till morning I really didn't mind until I fell pregnant, he gives me the best snuggles!

Keep going hun. As long as both you and he are happy it's fine.

I night weaned DS last month and now sorely regret it cause he is still waking up and he's taking a lot longer than a 10min feed to resettle!
