hi Lily Dust! Thanks for your post, I am using the disposable ones and I know the plastic backing is not good. I have been meaning to post and ask what people make their breast pads out of because my MIL gave me a sewing machine as a 'happy baby' present and I'd like to make my own hmmm maybe I'll just put some folded up fleece in my bra and see if that helps
