BF Baby on Losec and starting Gaviscon *help please :)*
DD2 is on 20mg of Losec a day, and still having some trouble (even now a couple of hours after a feed, she is upright on the couch supported by pillows and is grunting as she breathes) and we are trialing adding in Gavison to hopefully reduce the amount the throws up.
Because she is just BF'd I'm not sue the best way to give her the Gaviscon, we have a suspension of Losec (had it made up by a compounding chemist) which is working better than the tablets dissolved in some water.
Is it best that I express and give it to her via a bottle? I have bought a Pigeon Perilastic to hopefully avoid nipple confusion if we do try it this way.
Mix it with water and syringe it in?
Also is it best before, after or during the feed?
