So, since last post I have been waking DS to feed, just once, during the night. We measured him & in period of 9 days he grew 4cm (this was before night feeds)....what an amazing boy!

I am now going to let DS guide me as to what he wants. I have shown him he can have feed in the middle of the night if that is what he needs. I suspect he will be waking me as I woke a little later last night than usual & looked over at him in his bassinet & he was laying there with his eyes wide open (I suspect it was a matter of time before he said 'Mummy I'm hungry'! I am happy to feed him during the night but now also comfortable if he chooses not to. He is obviously healthy & he is a very happy little soul.

Thank you all so much for your support.

thanks for keeping us updated, it's amazing how those mummy instincts wake us even if they probably haven't made a sound yet
