little_o did you get help from your LC on using the shields? There can be tricks to using them to ensure it's done right and you don't end up doing more damage. Can you get on to her to come and help you (or someone else)?

I used shields for a while with my son and was ultimately able to ditch them after a while. I hope you can get through this
