I'm hoping this isn't a silly question...but....

Now when I am feeding dd2 sometimes it doesn't even feel like she's on there. Is that right? I've never had this before.

Is she definitely sucking? And swallowing? Watch her jaw, her ears, to see suck-swallow movements.

Weight gains ok? Wet and pooey nappy count ok?

Does your nipple look ok when she comes off, ie is it stretched or lipstick shaped?

Does she have a nice good mouthful of breast, she's not slipping off?

Yes she is definitely sucking, deep jaw movements and gulping it down.

Weight gain - was 480g in 7 days then 120g in 3.

Nipple is ok, sometimes lipstick but that's when I feel it and reattach

Pretty good mouthful, always less though by the end of a feed.
