Is this normal??

Ok, my milk came in on day 2-3.
Majorly engorged, as I expected...

But now its going. I'm not engorged anymore... Its only day 6...
Is this a 4th baby/body knows what its doing type thing? I was expecting to be full for weeks at least. My boobs are soft as they were before...

There still seems to be plenty of milk, but not as much as I thought so early on.

Someone just reassure me?? Please?

I actually never had that full, hard, engorged milk coming in boobs that others talk about. But I also had no milk issues, there was plenty there! So what you're describing sounds normal to me, hopefully someone else will pop in!

Keep checking for bumps and lumps and make sure you are draining each breast to protect yourself against mastitis, but all sounds like bubs is doing a fine job drinking!
Engorgment is not really a good thing... They will be engorged and hard maybe if by some mirale bubs sleeps for 5 hours straight and you cna feed But otherwise, your body will regulate its production as per bubs feeds.

Hmm, ok, cool. I know engorgemtnt isn't great, I'm just sure I remember my milk took weeks, if not months to settle last time, so I didn't think it'd be this quick this time around.

seriously though I was never engorged and never really full but obviously had heaps of milk cause he was a chubba baby Obviously she is feeding regularly? and seems to be feeding well? planty of wet nappies and seems fairly happy?

Completly normal babe after 3 or 4 babies.....

By the time Harmony came along, I was engorged just the once, when my milk actually came in, and that was it..... she fed for 18mnths....

She's definetely getting plenty... she put on 10 grams, rather than lose weight in hossy, lol.
Feel much better about my almost normal sized boobs now
