    Is this normal??

My gorgeous boy was born at 34 weeks via CS. Was 1880gm. Spent 3 weeks in SCN. He is fully breastfed.
At night lately he is feeding can be hourly to an hour & a half, if I'm really lucky 2hrly.
During the day he generally goes 2 - 3.
He is 12 weeks old & weighs 4.2kgs.
Is this normal & how do I survive on hardly any sleep.. ???

Sounds 'normal' to me. What is his output like? Settled and content between feeds?

Unfortunately, yes, it can be very normal. I'm not sure how you survive, you just kind of do... try to only do what is absolutely neccesary and leave the rest, sleep while baby sleeps and keep your fluids up! Co-sleeping can also help if you aren't already.

It's not abnormal - lots of babies do it. But it can be very exhausting!
Try and teach him about daytime - lots of light, getting out and about, and encouraging him to feed more and more during the day. Sleep when he sleeps during the day (screw the housework - sleep is more important). Especially encourage cluster feeding before putting him down for the night (a few feeds close together), so he lasts a bit longer. Then go to bed yourself, because that period is likely to be his longest sleep.
For most full term babies things improve between 6 and 12 weeks - so that probably starts about now for you.
