Just to be on the safe side, wake him every 3 hours and feed him. Is he jaundiced at all? What are his wet and dirty nappies like? The more milk he gets into him the more wakeful he will be. Just give it a few more days before you let him take his l-plates off and do it all by himself. You are doing great
i'd keep an eye on the clock a little bit, but that said, my DD1 was the total terminator on the boob from almost day dot. she would feed off one side only and for about 10 mins (15 MAX!)...i swear though at times i thought my whole boob would be ripped off from her ferocity hahaha.
