One side feeding....until now?

Hiya!
DS has always been a one side kinda guy. Or I've been a one side kind of mumma. He's 5 and a 1/2 months old now, and has been getting frustrated at what used to be the 'end' of the feed. So I started him on both sides and he's gulping like a greedy guts and polishing off the other side! This has only been going on for a couple of days. Am wondering if it's a growth spurt thing, or if this is how I should be feeding him now that he's bigger?

The only constant things about babies and children is that....they change all the time. It keeps we mummies on our toes. He's asked politely and you've given him the other side - perfect. Completely normal for this age and stage.

Oh I'm glad I found this thread, DS is a one side kinda guy too and I thought by 4 months he would be having both sides. Glad we aren't the only one sided people! By the sounds of it he might pick up the other side in a month or so.

Yep DD picked up both sides around the 5 month mark, and got a lot quicker at feeding too. She stayed one side only through the night though for a few months longer though.
