Hi Danni

It certainly is possible to relactate, although in your case you aren't really starting from a base of no milk. All you need to do is reestablish your supply. The best thing for that is frequent bfing. Try bfing him whenever he is hungry, as much as you can. When you have ff him if he is still hungry, try to express afterwards. Ignore the amount that comes out, it is about stimulating your bbs as much as possible. Babies are far more effective suckers than a pump.

It's a good idea to contact the ABA. I would suggest hiring an electric pump if you don't have one, it will do a much better (and quicker) job for you.

But again, as the others have said, the most important thing is to get Jaxon to bf as much as possible. It may take some time to build up your supply again, but he is so little that it will be quicker than others I have read on BB that successfully re-established after some months of not bfing!

Good luck!! Huge to you for giving this a go.
