I am starting work soon working one to two days a week and will be away from bub roughly 8.30 - 4.30 (8 hours). I have tried on and off for months to get her to take EBM and she just won't drink it once she realises what it is. Tried cup, sippy cup, spoon, bottle.

Initially, DH will be able to bring her up at lunchtime but he won't be the only carer and long term this isn't practical.

Is it ok for a 10 month old to go this long without milk? She eats solids (BLS) but not huge amounts, and will drink water.

Has anyone had a bub refuse EBM for a long time, but then eventually take it?
