Hey hun, sounds like you're having a stressful time right now. I haven't read all the posts, so sorry if I'm repeating something. But, I found when DS dropped the nipple shield he became a super fast feeder - from 20 mins a side down to 3 or 4. They say that babies are able to feed a lot more efficiently without the shield. Is it possible that she is simply taking in all your milk a lot faster now that she's off the shield? Maybe she's fussing because she's missing the 'comfort' aspect that comes with a long feed.

Also, I found that around the 4 month mark or so that my breasts stopped getting that full feeling, they felt much the same all the time. Except for first thing in the morning when DS hadn't fed for 8 or so hours, then they felt full.

Try not to stress to much babe, that won't help. Just keep going with the flow (forgive the pun). As long as her outputs are much the same you can be confident that she's getting what she needs and it's more to do with the transition from the shield to the nipple. In a few days it will all hopefully be a distant memory
