I was just about to ask if it was necessary, but I saw that she's having trouble attaching. My DS has mild tongue tie as well, but had no problems feeding, I was just going to offer my experience, but now see it's irrelevant!

I was told it was a routine procedure and was offered it for DS but didn't end up happening as he was feeding ok. I would have in a second had he had problems BFing. I hope it goes smoothly for you and your DD. Thinking of you x
