DS2 has started to be really fussy at the breast. He will feed for about 10 minutes or so properly and then will start screaming with the boob still in his mouth, pull off and continue to scream. I will settle him down ( i think he is quite windy) and then try again and he will again give a couple of sucks and then scream again. This will continue till i give up as i figure he is full or in pain then i spend the next couple of hours trying to settle him. I dont know what to do. I keep thinking maybe it is reflux but he doesn't spew that often and when he does it doesn't seem to cause him pain. I wind him constantly and that doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas? Am i missing something? I am concerned as his feeds are alot shorter than they used to be and he doesn't seem satisfied at the end of a feed.
I found that my DD was like that either when she had wind OR if i ate something that made the milk taste different for me it was anything spicy or the time i had 2 sips of wine a while after she would scream as well ,same with the food. But she also did this when she was younger when she has bad wind.
Its so upsetting isnt it? I would feel awful when there was nothing really i could do. hang in there hun i hope you work out what it is
