You would think it would. But seriously - this is for RENTING. I'm not applying for a frigging loan here...

Why make it so hard for people wanting to rent? Surely this will just drive people out onto the streets. I know I have a good bloody credit history and thats WHY we got given enough money to BUY A DAMN HOUSE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

Yeah it does suck arse but the laws change from state to state in regards to rentals and applications!! My mum is a property manager and she said Tassie is the hardest to rent in cause of the extra documents that you do have to supply just to put in a application.

Do you need it straight away? I know you can get it for free within 2 weeks via vedaadvantage.

I don't know - do you need to submit it with your application or will they take your application without it if you are waiting for it? We need to secure a rental pretty much straight away, we move in 3 weeks time.

hmm, dunno about that one. I would imagine that they want it with the rest of the stuff but you can only ask. That sucks because you could've organised it earlier if you'd known about it.

You can use a website called Veda Advantage or just goggle credit report.

You can have the option to pay and have it within 24 hours or you can wait ten days and get the report fee
