Well F this, i am so over it! I just called and apparently she has been 'flat chat' and hasn't had a chance to look at our application so there is no answer yet... WTF, i submitted it on Wednesday morning! Seriously, and i have spoken to both her and her manager explaining that we want the lease to start from monday! I am so annoyed! Now i am going to have to spend Saturday looking at alternatives and there is absolutely nothing else around that i haven't already looked at and ruled out.

I'm sure the owner would not like to hear that. That is why they are employed and if they are to busy hire more staff

No updates yet, the house was open again on Saturday so I went along to check out my competition! Only one other person came, it is really over priced so I think a lot of people over look it. The agent said she would have an answer by that afternoon and that the owner just wanted a night to think it over.

She was obviously lying as she called this afternoon to say she was having trouble contacting one of our references and wanted to clarify how much we wanted to offer! Soooo lazy, how can the owner be considering our offer if you havent processed our application nor even remember what we wanted to pay? But, it could be a blessing in disguise as i also saw a another really nice place on sat which was $40 a week less so have applied for that one too. I would really prefer it, but it's not available until 3 weeks after we need to be out! Not a huge problem I dont think as the owners of our house aren't due back till the end of march so I think we could just ask for a bit longer? So I am going to delay the first agent until the second has made a decision!

Well, we got it! But at the higher price.... At least we tried hey? Plus, we dont need to go in and sign till tomorrow afternoon so plenty of time still to find out if we got the cheaper house which I actually now prefer!

More house vibes anyone?? Am I just being picky now?

Fingers crossed rivlas, when I spoke to them Monday morning the said it could take a couple of days, I will call again tomorrow morning and see if the will have a decision

Well it's all done and dusted now we have paid the bond and first two weeks on the more expensive house!

Have been around this afternoon to do some cleaning and will go back tonight after the kids are in bed. I need some industrial strength cleaner though, uuggghh the bathrooms are gross!

Take lots of photos before you start cleaning or move in especially if it's not clean.
