Thanks everyone I actually didn't get either of the two positions I applied for before but this one is better (and better paid) so it all works out in the end I am moving to Stirling. Apparently my granny and granddad (My mothers side is all from Scotland) spent their honeymoon there so that is nice. Not moving for a few months and still have the visa hoops to jump through, but its all looking positive for now. Now just to convince DS that it will be a great adventure. If anyone has advice on preparing kids for a big move then I am all ears!
