After all that cleaning, and then all day stressing if the kids were making a mess cos I had to clean it up, interrupting DD1's nap - it turns out that they are just looking at what is around because they are thinking of downsizing. Not that they ARE downsizing, just checking things out in case they decide TO downsize.

So yeah, basically wasting everyone's time. Awesome.
