a letterbox is a good start Blinds/curtains for the rooms if they don't come included. Lightbulbs should already be included when the electrician does their bit. I would hire a truck, much more efficient to move that way.
    How exciting!

Oh that would be good about the lightbulbs Jodi! I guess we'll find that out when we do the check a few days before we move in.

I KNOW Ajp, they said December! Glad though, better than moving just before Christmas, AND it's in school holidays so we can put our family of school teachers/admin to work.

Lightbulbs should most definately be included with the sparky's work hun, and im not sure what you nutted out in your contract but a letter box should be as well ... i know it comes standard in all of our homes (i work for a construction company )

super exciting to be moving into a brand new home tho hun! I love new home smell hehe

We chose not to make progress payments and the things like letter box, toilet roll holders, etc came with making progress payments - doing the maths it worked out better this way somehow. Probably lots of other people thought so too, cos they don't offer no progress payments anymore.

Yeah it is exciting, our place is pretty small with no usable backyard and tiny laundry and no kitchen bench space, so it will be great to move into a place with space and things that work.

that works very well nelle!! im sure your mum is rapt
let me know if you need a hand packing!!

ETA id try and organise one of those companies that come in (after youve moved) and change all normal light bulbs to the energy efficient ones
