Hints and tips please

Hi all

This is the first time we have had to move with a child (DD1 will be max 20 months old when we move). Any tips / suggestions? She doesn't really know my parents or DH's parents well enough to settle with them for the night.

Is there an option of leaving X with either your parents or your DH's for a few hours during the day while you do some of the moving then you and go back and collect X at the end of the day...or does she not know them well enough to stay with them for a few hours during the day?
