Don't forget ebay either, you can get some great stuff there, we got our dishwasher and a fridge from ebay.

Garage sales are great too.

When i first moved out of home I got a lot of stuff from my grandma's house and various relatives so had an eclectic but useful set of furniture etc.
Which state are you in?? My friend is selling 2 Ikea lounges with covers for $300 (they will be in great condition knowing her cause she is very fastidious about cleaning etc.

hun I have 2 single beds that you can have if you want, you're not too far from me. They're wooden slat ones but I lost all the screws when I moved last so I can't put them together lol! They're basically 2 single bed frames (minus the screws but they can't be hard to get hold of)

Hey we are moving out into our own place in 3 months and I have an excel spreadsheet of all the furniture and bits and pieces we need to furnish the house. PM me if you want me to sent it to you. It has everything you could think of on it so a lot of it you probably won't need!
