How much are your rates?

Where we live we pay $1080 per year. Water is paid ontop of that.

On our vacant block of land we pay about $1500 a year but that includes water.

I pay around 1200 per year. A boom from a mine starting in my area forced the prices up alot a number of years ago, they left, prices never came down!

Oh - and mine includes water, except if you use over your allocated amount, then you pay per kilolitre extra. I never have so far (I have a big tank and use mostly tank water anyway).

We pay $275 per quarter and our house cost 500,000 last year and is prob one of the cheapest in the suburb! (gotta love stupid Sydney prices)

Ours are $550 a quarter so $2200 a year. We built our house for $360k about 4 years ago and I think it is now worth close to $500k.
