I'm in the middle of preparation for move mode (move is a few months away ... so I've got a while). I'm only moving what I will need, the rest will be gotten rid of. The furbabies will be flown down before I leave and put into a boarding place for a week or so (until I'm settled).

Make sure that you've got the essentials in the car with you for when you get to your destination (unless all your stuff is already at your new place and partially unpacked) - so things like a kettle, cups/mugs/glasses, spoons, a few plates & cutlery.

Thinks to keep the munchkins occupied on the drive - and try not to do the drive in one go - short drives and lots of stops.

Speak to the RSPCA (or your vet) about best ways to travel with the pets.

Where in Qld - maybe one of the Qld girls could help at their end with getting essentials organised in the house before you get there (milk, bread, sugar, coffee/tea etc)

    Good luck with the move!!!!!

I would say try to pack as much snacks and sangers in a small esky for your trip too so your not stuck eating cruddy servo hot- box food!
    Good luck with the move!
