Can't tell you about notice in your state, but yes, you have to give a certain amount, or you'll be liable for the rent til that time is up. Especially being inside a lease.
Every agent we had taking people through to sell properties, gave only 24 hours notice. They'll probably start advertising & taking people through as soon as your notice is in, but you can rearrange for times that don't work for you.
thank you all so much!! i just tried ringing our agent but it's probably too early.
just going to tell her that we won't be re-signing after Sept 30th! hopefully we'll be settled into the new place before they host an inspection. we have inside cats and it's going to be very tricky having people walk through, they might open the laundry door and let them out.
i hope they'll let me be there when the inspection is happening, just so i can guard the door
Yeah, they generally only do it when your home, unless you can't be home. Then they'll ask to use their spare key. They will probably want access to the whole house though.
thank you ladies!!! we would have been paying for many months if it wasn't for your advice
i just rang our agent, she said she needs it in writing, and said an email is fine. all done!!! she said she will the property up on the internet (if the landlord wants too ofc) and said if there is inspections we're allowed to be home
