    Depends on where the lights are. Most lights you can access using a normal ladder

    No I mean like from the other side. We've had problems here with our downlights and the electrician had to get up into the roof space. Or if we wanted to chance the lights? Is there a cavity between the firsrt and second floor or is it all just cement?

    What if you have a flat roofed house with no crawl space? Or you live in a skyscraper?, or what about caravans?, or people who live in igloos?
    A good sparky will figure it out

    Oh I have no doubt a good sparky will work it out. It's how much it'll cost me and how easy it is to make any changes that I'm interested in!

    We live in a two storey house and just had ceiling fans installed downstairs, the sparky drilled 3 holes in the roof and one in the wall to get all the cables across and down to the PowerPoint but looking at it all now you wouldn't no
