I rekon you'd like Mt Eliza, even Mornington. You wouldn't like Langwarrin or Pakenham and i think you wouldn't mind some part of Frankston South.

When you coming to visit? Wed next week?

Growing up in Frankston i never had any trouble but there are definately areas and to be wary of (like you would find no matter where you lived). In my younger years I went out to the nightclubs each weekend and never had any trouble, i actually felt safer in Frankston than i would going into the city.
Me too. I grew up in the back alleys of Frankston, and i'm awright......... aint i?

ETA- And i want you to move down here so when i'm back visiting it's easier to visit!

Playgrounds everywhere. We could even wander the main st of Mornington if you like. They have a market every Wednesday. Oh and the icing on the cake? CR just opened in Frankston. What more do you need???

I would love to, the weather is going to be perfect this week!!!! But alas, I have my 20 week scan and Ob appt on Wednesday, so I'll have to leave you girls to destroy CR and your credit cards on your own . Another day though? How good is Eastlink, it takes no time for us to get to Franga now!

However, I'd choose the southern end over Frankston North (The Pines/Kananook Creek area is where the Frankston stereotype comes from). It's not like you're going to be hanging about the train station at night though...

It's got great public transport, beach, shops, etc...
Agree with that! DH grew up in Frankston so I can always ask his opinion of certan areas for you. I did hear once though that The Pines will may be a newish boom area as new land becomes more expensive and it becomes more cost effective to knock down the old commision homes. That could just be rumour though

You could look at Mt Eliza or Langwarrin, or further south to Mt Martha or Mornington but it gets a bit exxy down that way.

I know, Eastlink rocks! (Apart from the tolls ). Will definitely come to visit you, I love being near the water, I'm very jealous of your proposed sea change
