We moved when DS was about the same age & he was just fine. He was actually more excited as it was all new to explore & bigger....he loved it. The main thing we did as everyone has mentioned, was to set his room up first. I ensured his cot was up, speacial blanket ready, dummies etc & usual music playing. Also made sure we were organised enough to keep his night routine on track that evening & it all went fine.
TBH I haven't found it an issue with Darcy. We've moved twice in her 3 years and she's been great.
Both times we've had her looked after, but as long as her things are there then generally she's happy. Eating takeaway on the floor and camping out is fun when you're little so she felt it more of a game than enything.
