    Congratulations!!! It's an awesome feeling. We just became home owners after selling our unit and we couldn't be happier! Enjoy the freedom and put a few picture hooks in your walls (just because you can!) x

    Weeeeeeeeee, you must be so excited Teirae! Had you been house-hunting for a while? It's such a good feeling to farewell horrible landlords forever.

    Ugh, stamp duty is the WORST. That made me wince more than the actual mortgage. But hey, totally worth it!

    Oh can I ask a question?? In your state, did you have to pay a $1000 or so fee to register your house with the department of environment? I was shocked at this considering no-one has been able to tell me exactly what I got for that money!
