Then the husband arrived. He said the price they were after, and it was between $50 and $70 MORE than what the wife had told us the day before. Additionally, inclusive of that higher price, he could leave one of the horses, instead of him having to pay to adgist(sp??) it somewhere else. Okay, so let me get this straight, we have to pay MORE for the house AND have to pay for everything to do with this horse? Right.
Seriously?!? Some people are unbelievable. Fingers crossed an awesome house comes up for you.

How did I not see you post Krysalyss?? I must be blind.

We are STILL looking, as we have not got a response from the Landlord abut the five bedroom house with pool. It's really getting to the stage that I'm probably going to be up there on my lonesome for work in a hotel, then when school goes back, the Boy will be staying up there as well.

Top it off, I told my Mum today that we are moving, but not where to (and she didn't ask). So much unhappiness.

to you Netix. Finding a rental is a pain in the butt! And most landlords are so greedy. We vacated our last rental because the house sold and the new landlord put the price up $40 more a week!! We needed something with a backyard for our dog anyway, but it was soooo hard to find something decent. We finally found one with a big grassy yard and a big tree for shade, but the house is about 30 years old I put up with it for my dog (he's my baby) But the price was decent also.

I really hope you find what you are looking for soon, and hope you get a nice landlord!

    Thanks guys.

It's got to the point where we're looking now at three bedroom places, and making the two little kids share again (they have forever so far, so not a big issue), for even just six months to get somewhere good. I called the agent today that we have applied through earlier and, after I got over my surprise that they worked Saturdays (as some don't up there), she STILL hadn't heard from the 5 bedroom Landlord (she was going to ring him). And, I applied for another house, a three bedroom place.

Then, I looked on google maps, and saw that this place literally backs on to one of the really crappy streets where we had looked ages ago, and heard neighbours yelling at their kids, etc. Don't really want to live next to that again, thanks, so had to call her back and cancel that application!
