I used the granny undies too, but also had an elastic tube thingy that the hospital gave me to help repair my tummy muscles- pretty much like a belly band. Felt nice and comfortable and held together.

I just used oversize grannie undies too and stuck a pad across the scar line iykwim.
I also have a load of hipster type ones but I found (and still do) that they dig into the scar and make it irritated.

Those belts sound good. Try searching them online there may be a wholesaler like sportstek or something that has them?

Go grannie undies!!!!and maternity pants with wide pants yoga style...
I reckon ask at your next OB appopintment about the speical tapes they have JIC the worst happens, you may find they tape you just to be sure while in hospital and keep a bit of an eye on you at home as well I'd be asking for it...Good luck!!!
