    Red face C/S Underwear

Okay I think this is the right place to ask this......

But I was wondering if anyone has found underwear to support the c/s scar after while recovering? I ask because DH will only be home for 2 maybe 3 weeks after bubs arrives and I don't want to cause a bust open like I did last time, tho it was not my fault I just want to take some precautions while it is still healing.

    TIA

Um lots of women like the big granny undies - but I actually preferred DH's hipster undies, the thigh holes were bigger so I didn't have to struggle to get my fat thighs in them so much, PLUS, they were the right height to hold the pad against the scar. Oh - and with the extra "gap" at the front, they don't get tight when you are wearing a pad to catch your uh.. flow .. either.

Arimeh - You are an answer to all my questions!! I tried DH's undies last time but found them uncomfy too!! I was thinking maybe the BONDS maternity undies (where they sit over the tummy!) might be the go. I have 1 pair so far and I love them but just not sure.

I used the BIG grannie undies! I didnt have a pad or any dressings on my CS scar after the second day just butterfly tape and I just found that the granny undies wen right up to my belly button and just held everything in and tight and just felt better. Even now I dont like wearing low undies as I find the sit right on my scar and irritate me... so I wear granny undies all the time now! hehehe so attractive!

The big girdle type undies are also good as they hold you in and help support your core as well as hold the pad and gauze etc in the right spot. Target sell cheap versions.

I bought a 5 pack of granny undies from target for bag as i figured they would be comfy for wearing big pads and for support no matter what sort of birth i had, in end i had a cs and these were great as no pressure near wound. I think was $10 for 5 pack

I also got the really huge granny undies. But I got them 1-2 sizes bigger then normal so they wernt too tight. Once my tummy shrunk back to normal size (plus the pg kgs) I couldn't wear them anymore as they fell down
I think I got mine from best and less (can't quite remember its been awhile)
